Excellent Blinds & Shutters UK - Professional Standards 2026

1. The Legal Agreement

By placing an order with Excellent Blinds, you enter into a binding legal contract. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This contract ensures that both the customer and the business are protected under UK Consumer Rights.

2. Measurements & Quotes

  • Our Responsibility: If we take the measurements during a home visit, we are fully responsible for the blinds fitting correctly.
  • Customer Responsibility: If you provide your own measurements, Excellent Blinds cannot be held liable for any fitting issues.
  • Validity: All written quotes are valid for a period of 30 days.

3. Payments & Deposits

A deposit is required to confirm your order and begin the custom manufacturing process. The remaining balance must be paid in full immediately upon completion of the installation. We do not offer credit terms; payment is strictly due at the time of fitting.

4. Child Safety (Legal Requirement)

Under UK safety law (BS EN 13120), it is mandatory for us to install child safety devices on all applicable blinds. We will not install any product that does not meet these safety standards. These devices are for the protection of your family and are not optional.

5. Professional Installation

Our fitters will take every care when working in your home. However, Excellent Blinds is not responsible for pre-existing structural issues, such as crumbling plaster or hidden electrical faults, that may be discovered during the drilling process.

6. 12-Month Guarantee

Every blind we install comes with a 12-month manufacturer’s guarantee. This covers defects in the materials or professional installation. Please note this does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or general wear and tear over time.
